 Got a chance to read Irai anbu's 10,000 mile journey..A resourceful book.He has given a brief account  of how the items we use in a day to day setting came into being,it's travel through history,civilizations,it's migrations etc..
  He mentions how travelling has shaped our thinking,our history,the way we live and what not in a lucid way which can even make the layman ponder over it..Definitely a book to peruse....
